GUIDE 02 / BEFORE YOUR FIRST ENQUIRY

A useful first message.

You do not need a complete beekeeping plan before getting in touch. A few specific details can help us understand what you want to explore and which questions to discuss next.

Start with your area and your goal

Your area or postcode in Attica is enough for the first message. Tell us whether you are thinking about a hive at home, a hosted hive, sponsorship, support for existing colonies, lessons or a private visit. If you are not sure, describe the experience you would like.

Tell us your starting point

Are you new to beekeeping? Do you already have colonies or equipment? If you have existing hives, include the colony count and a brief description of the help you need. More detailed care records can be discussed once the request is understood.

Share timing without making assumptions

Mention the period you have in mind and any access or scheduling constraints. Dates, locations and scope need to be confirmed for the actual arrangement; an enquiry is the beginning of that conversation.

Leave the precise details for the next step

You do not need to send your full home address in an initial message. We can discuss the proposed location, site assessment and the information needed to prepare a suitable proposal after establishing the service you are interested in.

The aim is a clear next step: what needs assessing, what can be offered and what the proposal should cover. Installation, hosting or ongoing care begins only after the arrangement has been agreed.
